1B Stone
Also called #8 Stone or Pea Gravel. Crushed and washed. Great for drainage or driveways. Is "softer" to walk on in your bare feet!

2B Limestone
Also called #57 Limestone. This light grey stone is most popular as a decorative topping on driveways. Imported via ship to the Erie stone dock. *We do not recommend limestone around above-ground pools as it may corrode the alluminum panels - check with pool mfg.

Bank Gravel
Sometimes called Bank Run. Unprocessed sand and stone mix mined locally in Corry, PA. Rock and sand ratio can vary and may contain rock/small boulder over 8" diameter. A good economical product if you need to build a thick base for a new driveway or parking area. It is not easy to work by hand, we recommend having a tractor or dozer handy!

#3 Landscape Stone
This crushed and washed stone falls between 2B and Oversize Stone. Is great for filling wet, muddy areas but is also popular for mulching planting areas, creating dry ponds and stream beds and a variety of other creative landscaping ideas! (May still be dirty even tho washed coming from the gravel pit.)

2B Stone
Also called #57 stone. Crushed and washed stone mined locally in Corry, PA. Great for drainage projects, driveway topping, or any time you need to get out of the mud.

DSA Sub Base
Stands for Driving Surface Aggregate. A newer product to our region this sub-base meets PennDot specs for municiple dirt roads. It is a mixture of crushed rock and fines that will pack in very tight when compacted with a roller or tamper (compares to 411 Limestone). Mined and produced locally in Corry, PA.

Mason Sand
This fine sand is dredged from Lake Erie via ship, you will find small white shells in the sand. Typically used for mixing mortar or concrete, under swimming pools, for sand boxes, and also can be swept between the joints of patio pavers.

Over-Sized Stone
Large screened stone mined locally in Corry, PA. Great for filling in large muddy areas, reducing erosion from water run-off, or general landscaping projects. (not washed)

Silica Stone
A pale yellow/orange stone which is mostly smooth and marble textured. Often used around pools and patios where bare feet may wander.

Gravel Sub Base
- also called 2RC. This is bank gravel which has been screened to remove any stone larger than 2". Is a good economical product for building up driveways and parking areas. It is heavy but can still be worked by hand if needed. Produced locally in Corry, PA

- Also called Asphalt Sand. Produced locally in Corry, PA. Used for a leveling course under patio pavers. Also can be tilled into clay based soils to increase drainage.
